Louise our Nursery Manager has 33 years experience in Childcare, and has worked here at First Steps since 1998. She is very much hands on within the nursery rooms, together with our Deputy Manager Angela. Louise is also our  Designated safeguarding Lead and Special Educational needs co-ordinator.

Angela our Deputy Manager  also has  many years experience in childcare, and has worked at First Steps since 1999.

 

It is very important to us that we know each and every child and their parents / carers. We work hard to ensure we lead and inspire our team of passionate, dedicated and caring Nursery Nurses.

​

All our staff are fully trained to NNEB or Level 3 equivalent in Childcare, and all hold qualifications for Paediatric First Aid, we are also specialist trained in diabetes, coeliac, food allergens and on how to administer a jext/epi-pen in case of emergency. All of our staff access continued professional development to further enhance their skills and knowledge.
